Original Medicinals encompasses a variety of therapies to give you the best treatment possible. The first consultation begins with an in person intake that covers your medical history and individual body constitution. Once we have established your health goals, we will curate a treatment plan that usually spans 6-10 treatments. Usually patients come in with a chief complaint such as back pain or IBS, and once these issues are resolved we move to the next layer, like anxiety or memory. One of the best parts of this medicine is how it doesn’t just treat symptoms, it treats the root of the imbalance by supporting your body’s own ability to heal and become and environment where only health prevails.
Acupuncture

Acupuncture needles are placed in specific points along the body’s meridians to treat various ailments-digestive, fatigue, emotions, pain, menstrual regulation, and promote general well being. These points direct the body’s Qi to flow in the right direction at the right speed to restore harmony. Needles are retained for 20-30 minutes.
Cupping & Tui Na

Cupping uses suction to pull out “evil Qi“. In other words, cupping promotes circulation and is best known for its ability to relieve muscle tension. Tui Na is Chinese massage, which focuses on stimulation of acupuncture points that treat both the physical and energetic level. Cupping and Tui Na treatments last 40 minutes.
